Trials 2025/26

If you're looking to try out for one of our invitation only squads then you've come to the right place!

The 1st trials for 2025/26 Development and Advanced Squads will be held on Sunday 28th September (time tbc).

If you are interested in trying out for one of these squads please make sure you meet the below criteria and please express your interest to the correct contact and we will allocate you a trial time slot on the Sunday. All trials will be held at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex.

Development Squad World Tennis Number for Men 26-38 and Women 28-40, please contact Ollie Bendall (Ollie.Bendall@bristol.ac.uk)
Advanced Squad World Tennis Number for Men 33-40 and Women 33-40, please contact Ollie Bendall (Ollie.Bendall@bristol.ac.uk)

If these trails are not for you, but you are interested in playing tennis with our club please come along to one of our Give It A Go Sessions from 20th September to 4th October. The link to sign up will be live here from mid-September.

If you cannot attend one of these sessions but know you would like to join our club, here is a guide to the level of each membership for you:

Beginner: You cannot yet serve rally and score and keen to get more basic technical input

Improver: You can serve rally and score from the baseline.

Intermediate: You can competently serve rally and score from the baseline and have a tactical intention when playing. You are able to control the ball by changing the pathway, angle, speed and spin that you use.
